1-Wire Weather Instrument Kit V3.0

1-Wire® Weather Instument Kit V3.0, contains all needed elements to convert your PC computer in to a profesional Weather Station. The TAI8515 lets you view the weather outside from the comfort of an armchair.

With the 1-Wire™ ® Weather Station up there where the air is free and wired to your PC, you get instant access to weather facts -- wind speed, direction, and temperature -- right outside your door, not at a TV or radio station 30 miles away. Based on the succesful design made by the engineers of Dallas Semiconductors, and using the same family of integrated circuits. Completely based on the Web-addressable components of the 1-Wire® technology the instrument allows, in a very economical way, to measure temperature, wind speed and wind direction, by the way of only one wire (plus ground) , with only the power supplied by the RS232 serial port  or the USB port of the PC.

(batteries not included , AND NOT NEEDED !!!!!).

And if it wasn't enough all the software is 100% Free!!!

Easy to assemble and install all needed hardware is included on the KIT, so all you need to set up your home weather station is the 1-Wire® Weather Instument Kit, a PC computer with one DB9 RS232 port  or USB port available (optional) , Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP.

USB support is provided by DS9490 USB adapter, RS232 support is provided by DS9097U DB9 adapter
