1-Wire Humidity Module
The perfect companion for the TAI8515 Weather Instrument, the TAI8540A 1-Wire® Humidity Module can be installed on any existing 1-Wire® network. Based on the HIH-3610-A humidity sensor, manufactured by Honeywell, and using the DS2438 IC from Dallas Semiconductors as a 1-Wire front end and a A/D converter, the TAI8540 not only permits to measure the relative humidity, but also the temperature.
The unit obtains the power it needs directly from the 1-Wire® network, without any need for an external power supply.
As with all 1-Wire® devices, it comes with a unique 64 bit address, so multiple units can be distinguished on complex networks.
The TAI8540A module can include a DS2505 memory with the TMEX compatible files TAGB.000 , TAGD.000, TAGX.000 that provide the complete identification of the module on the network
